Brookfield Animal Hospital is a progressive, three doctor, small animal hospital located in northern Fairfield County near Danbury, Connecticut. The hospital first opened its doors in 1966 as the Animal Medical Clinic. Dr. Michael Dattner and Dr. Silke Bogart purchased the hospital in 1999 and changed the hospital's name to Brookfield Animal Hospital. |

Along with the name change, the new owners purchased new equipment, expanded services and appointment hours, and renovated the boarding facility. The owners continue to purchase new equipment and a new facility is currently under construction to accommodate the new equipment and to improve patient care. The doctors and staff understand that life can be hectic. Therefore, the hospital offers a flexible appointment schedule including: - Saturday Hours until 1:00 pm
- Evening Hours until 8:00 pm Tues, Wed., and Thurs.

In addition to dogs and cats, the hospital cares
for the medical and surgical needs of ferrets, rabbits, guinea
pigs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, and other pocket pets.
The highly trained staff care for all patients with gentle
